It’s been a fun ride to be a part of the creative room where this gargantuan homage to NYC gets hashed out and sculpted. Now on previews and still taking shape, the show’s compositions by John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, as well as the fantastic orchestrations of Sam Davis and Daryl Waters keep me very busy going from orchestral and film score sounds over to 1940’s mambo in the snap of a finger.
